Welcome to FBC

Welcome! First Baptist Church, Crandall, TX has been here for over 130 years! When this church was first started here in Crandall, TX life was very different. People traveled to church in 1893 on foot, horseback, or horse drawn carriages. There was no air conditioning or even electric lighting! A lot has changed but quite a few things have remained unchanged. People still want what’s best for their kids, people still want to grow stable, healthy marriages, people still want to feel accepted by God and people still have a sense of what is good for long term soul-health.

We as a church have a core belief that God wants to help individual people and families as they live this life. “Families helping families draw closer to Christ” is our motto, even when families come in all kinds of shapes and sizes!

Whether it is 1893 or 2025, all God’s children, both young and old, benefit from living a life in God’s Grace, mercy, love and acceptance, gathering together forming a community of believers.
